Sam Chopra
President & CEO of eXp India. Founder of RE/MAX India, past President of NAR India, and a Fellow Chartered Accountant — a 30-year entrepreneur who has built businesses across India's BPO and real estate industries, and a bridge between Indian real estate and global capital.
Three decades building real estate in India
Sam Chopra (Samir Chopra) has spent more than three decades building and leading businesses across two of India's defining growth industries. A Fellow Chartered Accountant (ICAI) and Senior Partner at P. K. Chopra & Co., he began as an entrepreneur in India's BPO/ITES sector — founding CybizCall International and serving as President of both the Call Centre Association of India and the Business Process Industry Association of India.
In 2009 he entered real estate, founding and chairing RE/MAX India as its master franchisee and building franchise offices and agents across the country — recognised with the Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Award's "Entrepreneur of the Year." He went on to serve as President (2016–17) and Vice Chairman of the National Association of Realtors India (NAR India), and sits on the management council of NAREDCO. He is also Chairman–India of International Real Estate Partners (IREP) and a Partner at India Accelerator.
Today he is President & CEO of eXp India — the India arm of NASDAQ-listed eXp World Holdings, one of the world's largest cloud-based brokerages. Educated at St. Columba's School and Shri Ram College of Commerce, with executive education at Harvard Business School, Sam writes and speaks on the future of brokerage, India's real estate growth story, and NRI and cross-border investment. Through his podcast and writing, his aim is simple: to make the business of Indian real estate clearer, more transparent, and more rewarding for the agents, founders and investors building within it.
